The New City and Municipality Office Complex and Cultural Center in Piaseczno is an innovative urban project aimed at creating a central point for the city’s public spaces. Located between the Princes of Mazovia Park, Kisiel Square, and Piłsudski Square, the complex seamlessly integrates into its surroundings, forming a cohesive connection between key areas of Piaseczno.
The project involves the development of a block bordered by Sierakowskiego, Rynkowa, Zgoda, and Trakt Perełki streets. The two new central elements are the square in front of the Town Hall and the passage connecting the Park with the square in front of the Cultural Center. The Cultural Center, designed to open onto the park space, will offer a theater stage that can function as an outdoor stage.
The Town Hall will feature a fragmented form that smoothly integrates into the surroundings, with the main entrance on the west side and a glass hall that will connect the building with the park. The phased implementation of the project includes the construction of the Cultural Center and its parking lot in the first phase, followed by the Town Hall with additional parking in the second phase.
The basements of both buildings will be connected, offering 121 parking spaces, including spaces for the Municipal Guard’s vehicles, and bicycle racks. The Cultural Center will feature a multi-level foyer, café, automatic cloakroom, and flexible theater rooms. The Town Hall will provide various office spaces, a Council Chamber, the Mayor’s office with a representative terrace, as well as service and dining facilities.
The Incubator, or Creative Meeting House, will be an independent building connected to the underground parking. The adapted former bathhouse will become the headquarters of the Municipal Guard, with functional connection to the underground parking.
