PARO is a piece of small architecture designed to protect and maintain green areas and trees along urban communication routes. Its main task is to safeguard greenery from degradation and aid in its regeneration by supplying moisture through evaporation. The point-shaped design provides flexibility for use on varied surfaces, preventing vehicles from entering or parking in prohibited areas. PARO represents an evolution of well-known solutions, such as metal posts and concrete forms, addressing new needs and caring for nature.
Positioned on lawns, PARO acts as both a physical and psychological barrier while allowing residents and pedestrians to move freely. What sets PARO apart from traditional solutions is its properties that assist in green care and accelerate its regeneration. The components are made from regrind using vacuum thermoforming, reducing costs and production time. It consists of two cylinders easily installed with a compatible screw foundation.
PARO retains rainwater in a special tank, and with a simple ultrasonic vaporizer, it turns it into steam, evenly moisturizing lawns. Regular activation of the device creates a favorable habitat and interesting visual effects, while power from a small photovoltaic panel atop the unit ensures its self-sufficiency.
PARO is available in various forms, creating a collection of urban furniture with diverse functions, such as seating, waste bins, lanterns, and bird feeders. The simplicity of the design and flexibility of materials allow for adaptation to different urban spaces, supporting environmental protection and improving quality of life in cities.
