The fundamental assumption of the designed building is a modern approach to a model multi-family residential project, considering all aspects of its realization and functionality. The concept takes into account the ease of adapting the building to the future investors’ needs, optimizing construction time and costs, reducing maintenance expenses, while simultaneously minimizing the negative impact on the environment and ensuring residents’ comfort by addressing their needs and social relationships. The project analyzed various location variants, ranging from rural areas and small to medium-sized cities to densely populated large cities. This flexibility allows for a wide range of applications in different local conditions. One of the key principles is maximizing the prefabrication level of the structure, facilitating widespread adoption. The project aligns with the circular economy concept by aiming to maintain the value of used solutions for as long as possible. Thanks to the flexibility in modifying apartment layouts, the building can fulfill its function regardless of social and economic changes.

Efforts were made to minimize the environmental impact of construction by incorporating eco-friendly solutions related to site layout, rainwater retention, and material choices. The design also adheres to the concept of universal design, with a focus on accessibility for people with disabilities and solutions tailored to various social groups. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) was conducted for the proposed building to evaluate its embedded carbon footprint.
